Ok guess what, they now make wild bubble berry spongebob squarepants poptarts!! they're so adorable. yes, i know mil is the only one who will appreciate this as much as i do, no maybe alissa and yaz. if i'm feeling charitable perhaps you can have them at my house when i get home. so i'm supposed to be studying for my history final...that is totally NOT happening, because i have so many finals in a row i don't know what to study first. so i'm choosing to just not and waste some time on live journal. and it's so SUNNY outside all the time, my friends and i tried to be productive today but the sun was distracting. i cannot believe it is december and we still sunbathe. it makes me a little sad. but it's ok cause i'm coming home for the first time on the 16th! and i can't wait to see everyone. and be cold! i've realized i'm probably going to die of weather shock. a bunch of us are going shopping at bayside next week, it's this mall with a bunch of south beach souvenir-type stuff that i'm going to bring home. oh, and i saw the hottest guy in the world today, he was french of course. k i have to get ready to go to super step class, kira's influence, although last night she just finished telling me how i did not look any skinnier than since i got here and that i look the same. at least i'm not fatter yet, i don't think i gained the freshman 15. hard to tell sometimes. a few mornings ago her boyfriend called after i didn't go out with this drunk guy and hook up with him (but I didn't really know the guy at all) and told me all of his opinions on self respect and not taking one's pants off for random people...that boy does have his moments. well off to superstep, and then to the dreaded study lounge. wish me luck! |

so it's finally the weekend, thank god...i seriously just slept through my french exam but oh well it doesn't matter cause it's FRIDAY!!! Here is a brief update of things:
-I totally thought i was going to see the OC before anyone else, except for not because damn 8/7 central let mil see it at the same time
-some guy asked me out who already has a girlfriend, why do guys think they can do this? (the whole mark situation over the summer, anyone?) it is not ok to have two girlfriends!! and why do i always attract unavailable men?
-i guess, according to everyone, my hair is lighter. and i'm slightly tanner.
-there is a concert tonight and the homecoming parade, and the traditional boat burning on the lake my school apparently does every year
-kira and i have decided that peanut butter on triscuits really does make a good dinner, along with boxed everlasting milk
-i might get to have cake tonight cause it's my friend's boyfriend's birthday
-there's a football game tomorrow night!!
-the high for today is 87 degrees...yesterday supposedly it was below freezing back home in the morning for a little while and i miss crisp mornings
-i also miss getting to take a shower while not wearing shower shoes because you never know what's on the floor
-they have Zara here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need i say more.
-i saw a palmetto bug on the balcony and almost dropped my phone because it was 4 inches long and i wasn't EXPECTING it to be right there
-I am working up the courage to both go see the Grudge and get my ears pierced
-cocoa puffs are my new favorite cereal
-i've decided i want to go home with krista to PA so i can go to hershey!! she says the streetlights are shaped like hershey's chocolate kisses.
-at dinner the other night i fought with this guy about movies for like half an hour and it was fun
-i've realized it is impossible to surf here since the islands block all the waves, you have to go really far up north
-my friends and i are making it a goal to go jetskiing, wow haven't done that since i was in san diego a long time ago
-i love south beach!!
-i think i'm starting to say some words funny because a bunch of my friends have accents

I am so excited to now be a part of the live journal community...although i probably won't have time to update that much except for when i really feel like procrastinating or there is nothing going on whatsoever. If you'd CALL me i would tell you everything you need to know. but since my lj was so important I will TRY to keep up with it. Just got home from Publix, that's the grocery they have here and somehow i spent almost 50 dollars on food. I had no idea i ate so much. so then me, kira, and krista waited by the side of the road eating nuts and drinking eggnog for the shuttle to come and get us. And then those damn ladies at the front desk wouldn't let us use the carts cause it was after nine!! and we couldn't have gone earlier since we were busy. needless to say, the three of us carried a trillion pounds of groceries to the tenth floor. In other news, there is a costume party tonight at one of the frats and my friends and i are thinking of going as hula dancers, since all you need is a skirt and bathingsuit top and that is just the cheapest way to go. we were in claires today at Aventura mall and they had these adorable princess crowns...but alas 4.25 will just not fit my budget right now. there are so many more important things to buy, like halloween candy. I was supposed to help set up the haunted house tonight at school since somehow i got on the committee, but then they already had a ton of people helping out and plus it probably would've scared me, knowing me...they had a guy with a chainsaw running around chasing people and i think they did something with spiders. i saw a preview for the grudge in this guy jared's room the other night and i am still scared, i thought i had enough guts to actually go see it but it appears i am wrong. K i have to go get ready for tonight, I'll update some the next time i remember! |
